What Drives Us

The branding and logo development of EliteX 360 was strategically designed to capture various elements of the human performance optimization market.

From the beginning, our goal has been to put an end to the injury epidemic. Inspired by Sophie, our president Shane Scott’s daughter, and her story of a potentially career-ending injury, we worked to become the first distributor of this movement MRI technology in the United States. Sophie’s Story is yet another case of an athlete becoming injured in their prime to a seemingly preventable injury.

The concept of EliteX 360 was born as we advanced our understanding of the injuries plaguing athletes at all levels. By using revolutionary mobile 3D biomechanical lab technology to deliver objective data-driven analytics and reporting, our team strives to help mitigate injuries and enhance performance in sports, duty and everyday life. We aim to create an aspirational brand that helps people move better and last longer while performing at an Elite level.  EliteX 360 gives you the edge needed and information necessary to reach the Apex of human performance potential.

The Story Behind Our Name

The word EliteX was spurred from a conversation regarding our mission. In the beginning, we focused on the acronym G.O.A.T. In sports, G.O.A.T. is the title we all strive to attain: The Greatest Of All Time. With this in mind, we brainstormed acronym after acronym attempting to match the intensity and recognition of G.O.A.T.  While some early renditions worked well, nothing struck us as emphasizing high performance, elite individuals the way we wanted to. After further refining our ideas, we honed our focus down to two words – Elite and Apex.

Elite: A select group that is superior to the rest in terms of ability or qualities.

Apex: The vertex which is in some sense the “highest” of the figure to which it belongs. The term is typically used to refer to the vertex opposite from some “base.”

We wanted to provide athletes and individuals with the opportunity to perform at their highest level, their Apex. At the same time, we wanted to incorporate an understanding of where they currently stand in overall performance (their base). By combining these two words, we noticed something else formed, the X mark. While the word spurred from the combination of Elite and Apex, this X provided us with something that everyone strives for: The X-Factor. Immediately, we knew the name was appropriate; we create Elite Individuals by helping them reach their Apex and unleashing the X-Factor within them.

The “360” aspect of our name was designed as a way to signify the holistic and clinical approach we take to understanding the performance of your body in 3D. In the near future, we look to expand EliteX 360 into an all-encompassing, full body human optimization screening process.
